This policy covers this website and the information you send the practice when you contact us through it by WhatsApp, phone or email. Your clinical records are kept confidential under the HPCSA's ethical rules and POPIA; ask us if you would like details of how they are handled.
What we collect
When you use this website
This website has no forms or accounts, and you do not need to give us any personal information to read it.
- If you accept cookies: Google Ads and Google Analytics (loaded through Google Tag Manager) use cookies to record how you reached the site and used it — for example the pages viewed, your device and browser, your approximate location (from your IP address), and whether you tapped the WhatsApp or phone button.
- If you decline cookies: no advertising or analytics cookies are set. Google may still receive basic signals that do not use cookies, such as that a page was viewed.
- Hosting: our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run the site securely.
No medical information is collected through the website or its cookies.
When you contact us
If you contact the practice, we receive your name, phone number or email address, and anything you choose to tell us. Information about your health is special personal information under POPIA and is treated as confidential.
How we use it
- To reply to you and book your appointment.
- To understand which Google ads and pages bring visitors to the site, so we can improve them.
- To keep the website working and secure.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for remarketing or personalised advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires. Clinical records are kept for the periods required by law and HPCSA guidelines.
