Dr. Janesh Ganda
Sports and Exercise Medicine physician with over a decade of experience operating within elite rugby environments, including the Currie Cup and SARU High Performance structures. With exposure to international rugby campaigns, he brings both clinical and systems-level expertise to athlete care. As Clinical Director of SportsMed Alliance, he oversees clinical governance, multidisciplinary integration, and the delivery of high-performance medical services. His clinical philosophy centres on evidence-based, minimally invasive treatment.
A competitive athlete himself — former SA Duathlon and Triathlon team member, ITU World Championships competitor in Ottawa, Pontevedra, and Chicago — Dr. Ganda understands performance and recovery from both sides of the treatment table.
